Welcome to PrettyText. By using our website at prettytext.com ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree with any part of these Terms, please don't use the Site.

What PrettyText Provides

PrettyText offers free browser-based text formatting tools. You type regular text into our generators and get back stylized Unicode characters you can copy and paste into social media, messages, documents, and other platforms. All text conversion happens locally in your web browser.

Using Our Tools

You're free to use PrettyText for personal, creative, and commercial purposes. There are a few ground rules:

• Don't use our tools to generate text for illegal activities, harassment, spam, or anything that could harm others
• Don't attempt to overload, hack, or interfere with the Site's normal operation
• Don't scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content from the Site at scale without permission
• Don't misrepresent PrettyText or claim our tools as your own product

Your Content

The text you type into our generators stays on your device. We never see it, store it, or transmit it to our servers. Since we don't collect your input, we make no claims over the text you create using our tools. The formatted output is yours to use however you like.

Intellectual Property

The PrettyText name, logo, website design, and original code are owned by us. The Unicode characters our tools produce are part of the Unicode Standard and aren't owned by anyone - they're freely available for everyone to use.

You may share links to PrettyText and recommend our tools to others. You may not copy or redistribute our website code, design, or branding without written permission.

No Guarantees

PrettyText is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep everything working, but we can't guarantee:

• The Site will be available 100% of the time
• Every Unicode character will display correctly on every platform or device
• Our tools will meet every specific need you have
• The Site will be free of bugs or errors

Unicode character support varies across platforms, apps, and devices. Some styled text may not appear as intended everywhere. That's a limitation of Unicode itself, not something we can control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrettyText and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. This includes but isn't limited to issues with how formatted text displays on third-party platforms, any loss of data, or interruptions in service.

Since our tools are free and process text locally in your browser, the maximum liability we could owe you is zero dollars.

Third-Party Platforms

PrettyText is an independent tool. We're not affiliated with Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Facebook, Discord, or any other platform where you might paste our formatted text. Those platforms have their own terms of service, and it's your responsibility to follow them.

If a platform changes how it handles Unicode characters - for example, filtering out certain styled text - that's outside our control.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use PrettyText after changes means you accept the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hamilton County, Tennessee.
